We forgot to hit record on this particular Bible study. Maybe it’s for the good. We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28) KJV God is good all the time, and all the time, God is absolutely good. This was a very special Bible study to me as we were graced with Steve, Maureen, and Carlos in house as well as Guido, Becca, and Jeff on zoom, joining me, Karen and Gabe. (Riot the cat was on lockdown upstairs. Lock him up, lock him up.) Karen gave a great testimony of God’s healing power. Thanks to each and every one of you for your prayers for her. On the way to church on Sunday, I said to her, your faith has made you whole. Then at the end of the church service, when Karen went up for prayer, our Pastor said, “I saw the word “COMPLETE” over you.” I had not given him an update on her yet. By the way, He operates in the gifts of the Spirit which we studied before we tackled the fruit of the Spirit. He also ministers in the office of the prophet. I have been going to “the prophet’s house” for five years now and I can testify that our pastor is a prophet of God, he has been in the ministry for forty-nine years. It is a Spirit filled, Bible-believing, prophetic ministry. Glory to God, God is good! Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (James 1:17). KJV
On our personal examples of God’s goodness, I recounted the favor of God on our lives with a testimony of God’s goodness while we were in Chicago on a previous trip as well as His goodness and favor toward us one year when we stayed at the MGM grand in fabulous Las Vegas. Karen once again gave a great testimony of when one of our grand children was born and the details that only God can orchestrate. Grand son Noah was born on 6/9 and Genesis 6:9 says Noah was a just man (a good man) and Noah walked with God. God blessed us with five great kids and ten grand kids (so far). God is good and God is great! He is so great that He is good.
